Last June 2008, one week before classes started, we were able to have our family outing in Subic. I canvassed in all hotels and resorts for a reasonable price for a big family like ours, and I made the right choice when I chose to go to Sweet Water Beach in Subic. The resort is located just in the border of Subic and Morong Bataan, it is just near the Ocean Adventure. From what I have read in other blogs, Sweet Water Beach Resort is a private family resort but they opened it now to the public. I made a reservation through text messages , phone calls and emails  to the owner Mr. Paulo dela Concepcion who is very warm and accomodating. You can pay through his bank account or you can drop off payment at his residence in White Plains Quezon City. During that week, the place is quiet so I was able to rent the 2 rest houses for 2 nights at a very good price.

Rest House- 15 people capacity

This is the Bigger Rest House we rented, it can occupy 15 people. The first floor has the kitchen and dining table. We bought some groceries from the Subic center and some fresh fish from the fishing boats, then we cook our own food, the house has a gas stove and the caretaker lend us some cooking pans and cooking utensils.

In the front lawn of the rest house has a videoke, so my family enjoyed the whole night singing and dancing and eating.

Our holiday would not be complete without my Aunt who was the Kitchen Manager.

The Quiet Sweet Water Resort

The Resort was peaceful that I am not worrried if the kids would walk around because I can see from the veranda the whole place.

This is the room in the 1st Rest House, i wasnt able to take a picture in the bigger house because the kids were playing. So I went to the other house and took this picture, anyway, the accomodation looks the same.

I dont get any commissions for this, but I’m happy with the resort so I just like to help the nice Paulo promote his beach houses. I havent met the owner personally but he calls to ask how are we doing and if we need something.
So there you go, I wish to go back to Sweet Water in Subic next summer time.
